(Ayam geprek pangeran sambal bara hitam )
Do you ever tried ate fried chicken with sambal? If you don’t, just try it. sambal is an authentic spice condiments from nusantara. Ayam geprek is a fusion of western fried chicken and sambal nusantara.
If you wanna try this dishes I will give you the recipes. So, you can make it at home.
For the fried chicken
just bought it from KFC
Sambal ingredient;
- 3 red chilli
- 5 shallots
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt to taste
- 1 pinch Kluwak to black appearance (optional)
- 1 tbsp hot vegetables oil
- 1 pinch sugar
*all ingredient mashed or rough blender (except the chicken)

this recipe for cooking chicken is unusual, I’m afraid it is too hot for me.
@katydarhel you can reduce the chill paper. Honestly 2 chilli is too hot for me

Is it something people generally make at home in Central Java or is it also popular at the local restaurants? Do you know the name of the chef who invented it or the origin is unknown? It is an interesting idea to combine western fried chicken with local spices.
