@Petra_M : The post that caught my eye this week was “A list of Bengali culture captured from “Baishakhi Mela”” by @LyricMitra. In it, @LyricMitra describes how she celebrated the start of a new year with a Local Guides meet-up. During a Photo Walk, she captured colorful pottery, handmade palm leaf fans, the traditional sweets and more. I always loved these outside events, where people gather and celebrate together. @MashaPS :I’m always interested in learning more about any part of Italy, so I loved reading TorM’s post “Football and many other emotions” this week. This post detailed his long Easter weekend with his family in Milan. They dealt with some difficulties such as pickpockets and long traffic jams, but they also got to experience many wonderful places in the city. @TorM shared some of his favorites such asDuomo di Milano, Parco Sempione and one of those amazing green buildings, accompanied by great photos. He also shared details about a football game at the San Siro Stadium he visited with his sons. For me, this was the part of his story which touched me the most. Check it out to learn more!
@sonnyNg : When travelling to another country, spending time in airports during layovers can actually be an enjoyable experience. A great example of this can be seen in @DennisNguyen’s helpful review post “inside the Terminal 4 of Changi Airport in Singapore.” In it, he gives a tour of the Changi Airport and shows off some great features to know about. This was a great reminder that you can write a review about any place you go—including airports!
@BorrisS : Photography has always been a major area of interest to me, but I’ve never thought about using a drone. That is, until I came across @AerialViews’s post “Photography with drones - adding your own unique perspectives” this week. Next to the amazing done photography, this post contains plenty of information about how to take your own beautiful photos using this flying machine. In my opinion, this post is a must-see for every photography lover.
