Pondicherry is one of the union territories in India and of course a tourist destination. So what’s so special about it? Food, Beach, French Streets…Well, that’s a very short description. This place is known for French settlement in India, Everything here is French style, shops, cafes, home, streets.
What did i like most?
French Food, the food is so amazing here. The ingredients, fresh and often simple preparation. when it comes to taste it’s really competing with the Indian Cusine. Well, that’s a wired comparison from my side.
My Favourite was Summertime Tartine: This was a mixture of sourdough homemade bread, Eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, and white butter. The presentation of the food was really good and the taste was awesome. Also, the Chocolate cookie was like a choco lava cake with a cookie crust. it was completely filled with chocolate. Not too sweet but perfect to go with coffee.
Don’t miss to try this when you visit this place in India, it’s not just natural beauty good food also tells more stories and culture. Hope you liked this post.

@MoniDi I’m glad you liked the food pictures, My favorite was summertime tartine, and regarding the price is moderate. Most of the food prices comes around 100 to 200 Indian Rupees which is around 3 to 4 Dollars.
Fantastic, mouth-watering photos @Sanjay_viswa , but I truly appreciated the geography lesson as well - I had no idea that there was a French settlement in India! Also, I share the same feelings with you about French cuisine and Indian cuisine and having them compete against each other because I love both as well .
