French Restaurant in Hanoi

I visited a French restaurant in Hanoi earlier this month. As we all know that Vietnam was a French colony during early 20th century, the culture and language had under French influence for more than years. I tried the oldest French restaurant in downtown Hanoi. One must make reservation if you want to visit the restaurant or else you might have to wait on the street for a table.

I went there with my wife and friend, the three of us was the first table for the evening. The restaurant was an old house redecorated to get a new feeling. You can either order set dinner with 4 courses or 6 courses. The price at dinner time for 4 courses is around 890,000VT while 1690,000 for the six courses. I don’t think that I am able to comment on the food since I am not an expert on French food, but the atmosphere and the general presentation was great.
