Are there any ornithologists (bird watchers) among Local Guides? Hunting for street art in Cracow, Poland, I’ve found this unique district “Na Kozlowce” where you can find the birds’ murals gallery, under the blue sky. The artist Wojciech Rokosz creates amazing bird paintings on the blocks of flats. All birds shown on the walls are quite popular in Poland, living in the wild. Year by year you can find new street art there. The inhabitants are very proud of their open-air gallery and I had an opportunity to have a small talk with them. I’ve found people there to be very friendly and talkative. They gave me tips on where I can find all the murals.
My favorite one is the European bee-eater. It’s a beautiful, colorful bird you can find below.
Hi @AniaKiser great photos. now I’m tagging this spot on the map right now. I definitely wanted to see this place on my trip to europe I’m going to do in the summer. because you took great pictures. thanks for sharing:smiling_face:
@Gezendunyali That’s great info you are going on a European trip! Lucky you! There are so many places worth a visit, I hope you have enough time for that. If you need any tips about traveling through Poland, let me know.
@AniaKiser I don’t remember that I’ve seen beautiful birds like this !
The last mural art I have seen in Switzerland it’s “Titeuf” from Zep. A famous artist in Switzerland. You can find the place in GM here : La fresque de Titeuf
Thank you very much @AniaKiser . I have a special passport and I have the right to travel all over Europe without a visa. I plan to consider it this summer. If i come to Poland, you are the first person I will consult.
@MohammadPalash I’m glad you left a comment. There is lots of incredible amazing street art all around the World and I try to share them with our Local Guides Family. You can check my other street art posts on Connect.
