Hello,
I came across a lot of news recently which mention about how some people have been using the Phone number feature of Maps to scam people. They edit the phone numbers of certain POI’s like Banks or Financial agencies and when people call on those numbers they ask of confidential details of their accounts after which they are scammed. I strongly feel that such POI’s should have ample of verification before accepting any edits on them.
I hope there is enough awareness about this issue so that people remain safe from these scammers. I also request the concerned people to take up this issue before it gets elevated and come up with a solution on how to eradicate this scam.
Hereby I am also attaching a couple of articles from news agencies if you want to know the full story about these scam.

No, I can’t, @Bhavin32 . I am a local guide like you, and Google will not give details, that is perfectly reasonable. But being in this community I am frequently reading about LGs that complaint because they cannot edit anymore banks related POI. This means something, what do you think?
