Fratta Polesine is very small municipality (2500 persons) very close Rovigo (15km) with 3 pearls (+1):
- Villa Badoer of Andrea Palladio. It’s an UNESCO villa inside Palladian Villas of the Veneto
- The national museum about Frattesina an important village of bronzo age (XII – X century BC)
- The villa, today museum, where Giacomo Matteotti born and lived. He is known everywhere because killed by Fascists.
- The fourth pearl is an italian pearl. It was an important historic italian location for Carbonari della Fratta. The Carbonari was an informal network of secret revolutionary societies active in Italy from about 1800 to 1831.
