Thanks for sharing your image @Muzza Fox Glacier is a beautiful place. I hoped to visit it when I was in NZ a couple of years ago but unfortunately ran out of time as there were so many wonderful places to visit in South Island.

That was a great day and the helicopter was to my left in the photo. At the horizon in the distance there is a 100 metre vertical drop. This area here is the snow accumulation zone before compacting to ice.
