Four days in London, UK

Hi

London made a great impression on me. I prefer forests and mountains for rest. But to I am curiosity about the city. I was in London with my family once, for four days.

We planned which day differently. We wanted to see as much as possible.

We spent the night in Premier Inn. We bought breakfast in the hotel. From the morning we could start to get to know the city.

On the first day we w**alked from City of London to Tower Bridge.

On the second day we tested London underground. My son was very excited.

We spent day in Natural History Museum and Science Museum.

We all had fun.

On the third day, we planned a tour of London traveling by ferry across the Thames.

We had beautiful weather. This idea turned out to be fantastic.

We sailed to see to changing of the guard in Buckingham Palace.

We saw Big Ben.

We arrived by ferry to Greenwich and Cutty Sark.

We had a good view from the rivier.

We went on the fourth day in Regent’s Park. It was very hot. The shade of the trees and the sound of water gave me rest after three intense days.

A trip to London was a great adventure for us.

Hello @AgataZietal ,

Thank you for sharing your trip to London with us, it looks that you had some great time there! What did you enjoy the most?

I’ve never been to London, but your post really gave me the wish to visit it as soon as possible. The photos are amazing and describe perfectly each location that you mention.

All the locations and monuments are very familiar to me, as they are very famous and are the spirit of the city.

PS: I always relate the St. Pancras hotel with the song Wannabe by the Spice Girls.

hi @BorrisS

Thank you your comments.

You’re right. It was a very successful trip. London is worth seeing. For me the best day was on the ferries. The city viewed from the different perspective.

Have a good day.

Hello @AgataZietal ,

I guess, ferries, are always a nice option!

I remember when I was in Istanbul and we took a ferry along the Bosporus, it was really amazing.

Great pics, @AgataZietal . I’ve been in London in 2017 and it’s a beautiful city, indeed. Big Ben was being restored, so I wasn’t able to see like in your pics. Hope that I can go back soon.

Hello @AgataZietal ,

Yes, I do have a lot of photos, but most of them are somewhere on a CD. Have you ever been to Istanbul?

Here are some photos that I took along the Bosporus while on the ferry. Hope you will like them.

Expensive city? Not for me. It depends on what you want to visit and how? We travel as cheaply as possible and we always find this option
