Found 3 Difficulties In Google Maps Edit System.

During contribution on google Maps,

I also contributing on suggesting the edits.

Based on this my most of Edits approved.

But, during this I find these difficulties.

  • Approval of place shows twice times in my edits data in google Maps.

However, I didn’t find this issue, still google Maps.

  • The past my Approval edits data didn’t shown, My edits data shows only upto 26th may, 2020. However, I didn’t understood this.

  • When my edits approved but still I didn’t get points after 7 days. (I don’t focus on increasing points, but I thought to report this.)

Like my contribution stuck.

If you any other edits related problems you find, feel free to share in comments.

Based on my assumptions, the different queries about edits shows that some Damage or Problem occurs in google Maps system.

Hi @KishorMali . I have checked with my edits. It is ok with my edits. Only issue is few edits are still pending for review.

For few edits Google takes more than usual time, you know it very well.

Secondly this issue of showing you edits twice may be a glitch. So I will suggest you a simple process. Just go to your Apps setting and clear your Google Map’s cache data. Restart your mobile and the check if issue persist.

Good morning.

After Reading all thread,

I am frustrated and faded up!!!

Very very long discussion on edits.

I loose my intrest & ability when reading. :unamused:

Many local guides feels this issue,

Some are now, some are threw the past 2-3years, and some are recently.

And many different issues are raised by many local guides about the edits.

My approved edits are 2,441.

I think it’s doesn’t depend on numbers of approval edits… @MortenCopenhagen

However, It’s something looks like The Google Maps edits system doesn’t work properly. (For Saving data of edits!!)
