I hosted my first Local Guide Meet Up two days ago and holy wow, what an experience. I arrived quite early, and at some point, I began wondering where everyone was. Then, I realized that the event was technically just starting. While I allowed time for people to arrive a bit late, I found myself talking to random people who asked fun questions like; “Are you with the press or something?”
As the group reached 8 people, including myself, and ample time had been given to allow for late arrivals, our journey began. The next few hours slipped by effortlessly and everyone commented numerous times about how much fun they were having.
I loved the entire experience so much that I have already began planning several more.
