Format of contribution link

Per the application form to reinstate Google Map contributions (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdEYYLY9EUPoAy9Wj_qqsbUd8kF9g_hiR0P2GXdrSoubu57og/viewform), the format of contribution link shall look like the following: https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/110659891761955183796, which o believe is extracted from desktop Google Map. However, for many mobile phone users, the link extracted may look like this: https://goo.gl/maps/WPDkLQUmMpXtFQGX8

Is this format also acceptable for the application? Thanks.

Did you try using the shorter mobile link when submitting the form? And did you get an immediate error message?

I used the format of link that can be obtained in my mobile phone. I don’t have desktop computer. Have tried to “request desktop site” of Google Map on Chrome browser on my iOS/iPhone but the format generated in this way is the same as the mobile/Google map one. The applications forms were successfully submitted but not sure whether this link format submitted is acceptable.

As the form did validate, I would not worry about it.

In an other form we have seen the same issue, but using the mobile profile link was caught in the form validating, meaning the form could not be submitted unless the desktop link format was entered.

Thanks. But still like to ensure it’s accepted. One of the form submitted is with the following contribution link reported:

The link you just shared: https://goo.gl/maps/xhYBtMSDCCD5FMex5 is to a Deli and not an LG contribution page.

To be sure you could just submit the form again using the link above if your issue relates to your own account.

If you are using Google Maps mobile app, you may share your profile link from the sharing button on your profile:

• Open the Google Maps app
• Go to “Contribute”
• Click on “View your profile”
• From there click on the share button
• Choose an option to share

The share buttons look like this for Android:

For iOS the share button looks like this:

Please note that, as @MortenCopenhagen mentioned the link you shared does not appear to be of your profile. [EDITED]

Have submitted the application form several times but nothing has changed. The hidden ones are still ones. What’s worse is some new ones are again hidden. May we know how long we shall expect for the application to actually work? Thanks.

Before the new form the wait was typical about 3 weeks.

If you contributions do not go public this means you need to fix violations of the guidelines.

As we’ve mentioned in the form and in some of our previous communication, account reviews are done by another team, and we can’t provide a timeline.

Once you submit your profile through the form, we forward it to the responsible teams to have a look. They reinstate all contributions that follow the Maps policies, but this may take time, and we can’t share the results with you.

There’s no need to submit a form more than once - we keep track of all submissions. If your contributions disappear again after they’ve been reinstated, then please feel free to use the form again. Thank you!

я подал заявку сегодня, хочу это оставить здесь чтобы потом произвести обновление и сообщить сколько времени заняла проверка. в моем случае я указал ссылку с desctope и моя проблема в отзывах после 62 их перестали публиковать, я обнаружил это сейчас, когда их больше 300

проблема решена очень посредственно.

стали появляться старые правки которые я вносил на карты

отзывы не восстановились. я изменил старые отзывы и опубликовал, после 5 отзывов опять произошла блокировка. отличная работа
