Google gives you perks when you have contributed immensely to GoogleMaps @jamesc1 . There is no particular level for that. Just keep contributing to maps. You will be notified via maps
Just make sure you subscribed to receive mails from GoogleMaps

Thank you, I have only contributed to around 300 reviews and under 200 photos with just 9 place edits so not a lot of contributions compared to a lot of people on here. Thanks for your response.
