I stumbled across google local guides and the whole idea appealed to me. Am generally curious by nature and I love exploring new ideas and opportunities. I really love to post picture and do reviews on Google Maps. For one thing, it gives me a sense of belonging, for another thing it’s a way of contributing and giving back to the society. I can’t imagine how helpful it will be to someone out there who is just curious about a particular place that he wants to visit, and then he gets to search on Google Maps, for directions and he not only gets a direction, but an insiders view of the place he is searching, through pictures and videos. Again, posting on Google Maps helps makes the world a better place to be and navigate. It also make the world a global village. As a Google local guides you have this sense of fulfillment that what you are doing is in one way or the other adding value to someone’s life. On the the whole, I will say I have no regret doing what am doing through Google. Though in this part of our clime, Data charges is on the high side, but what I do on Google is well worth it. I love sharing on Google Maps because am contributing in making the world a better place.
