Foodie with a passion to photo

Do you all like looking at pictures of food when exploring Google Maps for restaurants?

Well I sort of take a ton of pictures of food wherever I am eating and then post them to Google Maps.

Most of the people I eat out with don’t ever bother taking pictures, but they always allow me to take that special shot of their plate before diving in.

It seems when people are trying to decide on a new place to eat - they really want to see the types of dishes and how they actually come out (presentation, portions, etc.)

Not only that, but they also like to see the seating layout - this tells you what type of place it is, the ambiance and setting. Is it fast casual? Or high end pretentious? Maybe it’s a hole in the wall that happens to serve the best food. Descriptive reviews of places go a long way, but photos make them even better.

Do you all agree or disagree?

Happy chow down.
