Hello everyone, I hope you are well.
In this post I will talk about why I like to share food tips, and also, the best places to eat.
I am a person who likes MUCH the food, I enjoy meeting new places to eat, and review all the places I visit so that when another person is looking for where and what to eat, or is looking for references on whether a place is good or not , can have a source of reliable information, that knows a lot about food: Me.
My favorite food is sushi, so, at least in my city, I tried to try all the sushi restaurants to decide which one is the best … The truth is, none of them seem bad, they are all good, but there are some which are excellent!
My Foodie life started, when one day I visited a Sushi restaurant when I was traveling in another city, I searched through many restaurant options, but when I entered the business card for a particular business, I was able to read a review of a local guide that wrote how good that place was, and left a recommendation: If you come here, you have to try the “Coco Roll”…
At first I hesitated to choose that dish, but the way this person described it made me decide and I asked for that dish
When I tried it, I could not believe it, really it was VERY good, and everything that this user wrote in his opinion was true … he described 100% the taste, smell and texture, and for me it was fascinating.
Since that day, I started doing the same, every day I visit a new place of food, I always take some pictures and recommend the dishes that I like and sometimes I include valuable tips, for example: "In this restaurant the glass of tea is refillable, and it is better to order 1 glass, to order 1 jar (which is not refillable).
Or also: “In the menu of this place this X dish is not listed, but you can ask for it”.
Do you know what’s best about everything? What has happened to me, that well-known people read my opinions when they visit a restaurant, take my advice and then, when I see them in person they say: “Hey, I followed your advice and I ordered the” Coco Roll “, and I loved it”.
That for me is one of the best things about being a Local Guide.
P.S: I have around 3500 photos on Google Maps, of which, I think 80% are photos of food;)
