My most favorite place to have Pop Corn in Nigeria is Kingstine-Jo, this is the closest of their branches to me; Kingstone-Jo! I have been having their popcorn for years and I am yet to get disappointed.
Another place I love to have Pop-corn is at the cinemas around Nigeria.
So, here you go…
How many places am I permitted to add again? @MukulR

This week smells, tastes and sounds so much like winter and Christmas that I was debating which category I should participate in. So to be on the safe side, I picked the biscuits and gravy.
Biscuits and gravy is one of the most common and popular breakfast items in the USA. Almost all restaurants, who sell breakfast, have biscuits and gravy. Sadly, I cannot eat the gravy all the time as most likely it has pork in it. So, I make my own gravy at home and bake my own biscuits. Last year we went to a restaurant in Colorado Spring, Colorado, where the biscuit and gravy was superlicious.
Village Inn is a family-friendly American restaurant, mostly famous for it’s homestyle breakfast and other foods. In my review, I shared how we liked their food and the service. We tried biscuits and gravy here during one of our visits there, thankfully the gravy didn’t have pork in it and it was delicious.
By the way @MukulR , I can see a similar (and probably common) mistake here once again in the food name. The biscuits that we refer in our part of the world is known as cookies in North America. Unlike the rest of the world, the biscuits in North America are not flat or hard, even though they too are made of flour and baked. The biscuits in North America are more like bread. They usually make it fresh and always with some gravy. So, when they say it’s the national biscuits and gravy day in the USA, they do not refer to the biscuits known as cookies, rather they mean the soft bread-like food, that can be eaten with gravy.
Thanks a lot for your nice submission @SoniaK Apu. Thanks for giving us a chance to read your review and see beautiful photos of the Village Inn. Amazing.
It is really tough for us here in BD to differentiate the biscuits and cookies, used in North America. As you know and mentioned in your comment below, what we say as biscuits in this region is really mean a kind of bread there. I am really sorry if it really creates any confusion for you. But I am really grateful to you for the clarification of biscuits and cookies. I will never forget this while I use it with any North American.
The bellow food photo is for you as a quiz this time, can you tell me the name of it
Anyway, my little angel loves to eat cupcakes. And I think it’s healthy for kids. I know you have a little angel. So, this week I am sharing with you a beautiful chain shop, there are delicious cupcakes. That is Mithai
Hope you will like this shop. Thanks for continuing this #food_challenge.
You are absolutely right that kids love to eat the cupcake a lot @Designer_Biswajit . My kids also love to eat cupcakes a lot. At present various kinds of cupcakes are found in the market and they are all the names. They also know how a brand’s cupcake tastes . Anyway, thanks a lot for your submission. Next week, #foodchallenge is going to be a little hard, take preparation for that . Stay safe.
@AbdullahAM I was worried about your submission as you were late this time which is unusual to us. Anyway, finally, you came at the right time, just on the last day of this week’s challenge. I agree with you about the super taste of cupcakes. I hope your kids also love to eat cupcakes as like as my kids and the kid of @Designer_Biswajit .
Anyway, I am considering the submission of both of you in the category Lemon Cupcake.
I understand @MukulR . Not a problem. This is not just biscuits and gravy, there are so many other things that we call in British English something and in America, it says something totally different. I actually find it pretty interesting. Hence, every time I find a difference in words, I look for the origin or the meaning of the word and it tell me a whole new story. It’s fascinating.
If I didn’t see that tamarind chutney on the plate, I would guess it as taaler pitha, but now it looks like aloor chop to me…no wait, is it aloo puri? Yes, it is aloo puri. Is that from Razzak’s? Oh my god, it’s been ages since I’ve had Razzak’s aloo puri from old Dhaka!
Hi @Designer_Biswajit and @MukulR , I hate to say it but the fact is, cupcakes, or any sugary food is not good for kids. I don’t know how old your kids are, but please DO NOT feed them cupcakes, or chocolates or any outside sugary food so often. This will not just get them fat, but also will impact on their growth.
I never thought of it that way. You are right. However, in the grocery stores of our city, kids foods are arranged in such a way that it is not easy for us to control our kids.
