Great idea @infra_81 to look on something in Black and White.
In the case of Food the Fantasy can generate fantastic colors.

I like the contrast. It makes the viewer have to imagine the color of the food and draw them into following up with the source to see if it is as good as they think.

Everything looks very appetizing. I haven’t tried Malaysian cuisine and I’m not very familiar with it, so it would be very nice of you if you can walk us through all the dishes that you’ve shared.

The first two pictures are taken in Jalan Alor Night Food Market, the first one is some fried street foods & second one is a meal with chicken & noodles. The third picture is taken in a restaurant named ‘Old Town White Coffee’ & it’s a meat soup noodles. Fourth picture is taken in a street near ‘Zoo’ & it’s traditional rice made food. You will find a plenty of street food shop selling these items. About the last picture, they are just frozen foods from a super shop (I cant remember the name)! So that’s all .
