For the first time create the favorite dish called ‘Tahu Campur’ which the main ingredients is shrimp paste that can get on traditional market around the city, don’t ever try to buy in modern market because the taste, aroma, thickness, ingredients on the shrimp paste are less quality & more expensive.
The dish originated from Surabaya then spread to another city in Java island because lots of people are likely taste the richness of the soup base and selection for the topping & side dish. Let’s talk about the price, it depends compare between street food & restaurant
Rp. 35 K ( restaurant ) , good hygiene , bit pricey, flavorless
Rp. 18 K ( street food ) , rich in flavor , cheap price , dirty area
