I recently had the privilege to travel to Puducherry, erstwhile known as Pondicherry, which is a union territory in India. It was formed out of four exclaves of former French India, namely Pondichéry, Karikal, Mahé and Yanam. It is named after the largest district, Puducherry.
Travelling and eating good, authentic delicacies of that place is my favorite job. So I term it as “FOOD TRAVEL”.
In my recent visit to Puducherry which is deep down south, the only problem I faced was --Language Barriers…
Now even if people wanted to help me I was not able to understand Tamil (their native language). So I resorted to GOOGLE, my philosopher and guide. And eventually was directed to some awesome eateries. I gathered from google guide that should eat Vanjaram Fish. Chicken curry with rice is a must eat, and so was directed to a restaurant named Sri Kamchi which served all these wonderfully prepared dishes.
Now in turn, I should also help the community by guiding them. And since each city has its own unique story, it can only be revealed by a resident living there. Thus through Google Guide all such local tales can be unleashed with genuine flavor.
