Batu Local Guide has been believed by Google to hold a meet-up event for local guide in East Java, Indonesia. This was second time for Google to support an event that created by Local Guides. This event held on 16th of November, 2019. There were more than 100 local guides to join this event.
There were 2 agendas in one-day. The first agenda was photo-walk in el Royale Kartika Wijaya Hotel, Batu. That’s a great hotel. This hotel also known as one of the oldest building in Batu (It built on 1840 M). Kartika Wijaya has almost 5 hectare. It has more than 100 rooms. It is really wonderful hotel.
The second agenda was the main agenda. Meeting on DNS Cafe, Batu. We held dinner on there. We also shared our experiences to each other. At there, the committee also has a quiz. The one who could answer the question would get a price.
Me, as a beginner on this community, felt so happy to join this agenda. It opened my mind about local guides were not some people who only traveling but they also did many things.
