I love travelling around different places exploring different cultures and localized findings.
Today i would like to talk about Singapore because its been quite some time I have been here and have explored lot of local cultural things which may help to know this country better.
Singapore has a diverse culture which constitutes Malay,Tamil and Chinese and the best thing I like about it is they speak common language and thats English inspite of having different spoken languages. This is the biggest advantage especially if you speak English.
Secondly Singapore is the safest country i have ever seen where you can see people jogging in the midnight especially women which itself is the biggest advantage.
Other than this the main attraction is hawker street here as it has all kind of cuisines(especially Asian) like Korean, Thai, Japanese, Indian , Chinese etc. everything under one hood
Finding grocery store is not difficult here because every district/area have one nearby or may be under your apartment which you dont find it in any country.
Same goes for Community club which has all the activities that you need to socialize with people and interestingly its there in each area and its so well planned that people dont have to go very far to enjoy these benefits.
Here we have a concept called HDB which are government owned land and leased to PR and Singaporeans and secondly we have condominiums which are private apartment with lot of amenities like swimming pool, play area gym etc.
The best part of Singapore is its transportation where its so simple that even a 5 year old can make out. Also its the fastest mode of transport and people here follow lane discipline very strictly. Its like by their nature.
Tourists attractions in Singapore has many places like Sentosa Island which has lot of beaches, water activities. It also has a Zoo and Bird park which is amazing in itself. Lastly if you feel you need to try your luck, you can visit Casino as well which is a biggest casino i have ever seen.
In short Singapore is a worth visit if you are coming for a short visit.
