Flying cows? This is too much! The Tryhutty International Kite Festival

Moreover, what do you think about flying lizard, huge crocodile, fish and octopus?

The tremendous wheel spinning in the sky right above my head! There are a lot of animals, birds, and fantastic dragons. All this stirred, moved, began to play directly above our heads in the azure spring sky!

By the way, you can easily become part of this huge live stream.

The Tryhutty International Kite Festival 2019 is a unique opportunity to spend your day off in a fun, interesting way, with your family and friends, in the fresh air among beautiful spring landscapes.

The Festival rules advocates a healthy lifestyle, outdoor activity, familyfrendly, childrenfriendly rest!

Come, participate, enjoy!

History of the Festival**.** A few years ago, the small vilage Tryhutty in the Mykolaiv region was little known. The population is about 800 people. The distance to the regional center is 35 km. A typical Ukrainian village is located on a picturesque Ingul’s riverbank.

Everything changed in 2017, when Kite Festival was coming to the Tryhutty fields. Now, almost every resident of Mykolaiv and many guests are waiting for spring and dreaming about the trip to Tryhutty Kite Festival.

The 1st Tryhutty Kite Festival was visited by about 10 thousand people. I guess that the village of Tryhutty has not seen so many people since its foundation!

To participate in the Festival came kiters from France, Vietnam, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Poland. Kiters from Kherson, Skadovsk, Nikopol and Mykolaiv represented Ukraine.

Last year the Tryhutty International Kite Festival 2018 was held for two days on May 19-20. Kiters from Italy, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Estonia visited Ukraine. The organizers expected about 20 thousand people, and about 35 thousand arrived!

Rising kites gathered thousands of people!

Kiters from Colombia, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia and China have already reserved participation for 2019.

Wow! What an awesome post, full with interesting details and mesmerizing photographs.

We also have a kite festival in India which is known as: Basant Panchi and it’s celebrated in the month of January but we not used these kind of kites shaped in form of lizard and cows:)

We used simple kites made with coloured paper and shiny plastic foils.

I really like to read your post, the use of plastic bottles is really good to see because i think it’s the proper use of recyclable bottles by making a beautiful creation.

Good luck for your next trip.

Kudos for you dear @JaneBurunina

I love how nice this article is done! Makes me dreamy. There is something special about flying things, music in the wind and grass… And the foreign music… Had to press replay on the video. I think is so useful that we have a map here because first thing after reading and dreaming along the article was to check how I would reach this place. There is a hot air balloon festival in France and also we have two?! In Romania as well, oh man, I need to reach one event like that this year, for sure. You remembered me to add it to my bucket list for this summer! I just love how the article is done. Had to say it again haha.
