Hi, I’ve been invited to join connect live 2019. I have a question but i can’t find any information about it. Maybe someone can help? I’m from Belgium so for me this would be 14h flight. I really like to attend the event but i can’t sit with my legs folded for so long. Is the flight only economy or is premium economy also possible (for extra legroom)? Thanks in advance. @Monica6 You have misunderstood the email. You are not invited to join connect live 2019. You have been invited to only to submit your application for the selection of connecting live 2019. So there is no question of asking the rest of the question you ask.

Thanks for your answer but that’s not my question. I know you have to apply first but i won’t to know this because this can have an impact on me applying or not.

@SaifIS thanks a lot for tag me . @Monica6 if you are selected then Lg one team contact with you for next process . and they provide economy class ticket . and their you can select sit for yourself . as i know before flish 40 days you can free select your sit then air want money for sit priority

@SaifIS is correct, for CL2019 it is just submissions only until the end of April. In previous years if you’re selected then at that time you get in contact with the travel team who arrange the flight with you.
In most long haul flights you can get up, stretch etc. There’s lots of how to’s on youtube. I’d recommend asking the travel team for an aisle seat so you can easily do exercises.
If you wish an upgrade, I’d assume it is carried at your cost.

Google will provide to the selected Local Guides an economy class Ticket, that you can upgrade at your own expense. They will also provide transportation from / to the airport, if you arrive / leave on the dates of the event, and of course the hotel for the four nights. My flight was 14 hours too
@SaifIS , soliciting for the Local Guides to mark your post as a solution in almost your replies is a quite unfair behaviour

For some of us it was a long flight. I was fortunate enough, flying from Europe, because the last flight was a never ending afternoon, from Munich to San Francisco. For 8 hours the local time (where the flight was at that moment) was 4 pm 
If you will be invited, make sure to know how to manage the jetlag, this is the hardest part
