Hi board. I’m seeing extreme lag times for load on this domain on IOS as well as Android. Also, yesterday I noticed a flat line in my photo views on maps chart graph. Oddly but consequential enough my son sent an image of his chart for views on maps. He’s not a local guide but the lines were noticeably flat. Today, I dropped over 200,000 yes 200k views. Where can I see what images were removed? Wait I can’t. The least we should get for free continuations of contributions are updates or some type of notice. Dropping over 200k views in a day will most def effect @AdamGT ’s monthly rankings for Top 100. Like the fluctuations in charts and the future should be stabilized for members as in grandfather clock at 10’ o’clock OR a placeholder. If the community can help with my slowness on the matter, I would greatly appreciate it.

I noticed as well on other users phones that my explore updates are being stalled for no reason . Like come on. Keep it live with explore and updates or don’t implement it. Thank you.
Hello @TiffanyStockstill and I’m sorry to hear about your unexpected significant drop in points. From recent browsing of other Connect posts, I note that advice has been given that the Maps team is aware of this issue and is currently investigating it. Also, a number of other Local Guides have had similar experiences and my understanding is that others have simply waited for a couple of days and the points are returned.
Regarding the Leaderboards, the next set won’t be posted for some 4 weeks so hopefully this will be sorted out in time. Hang in there. Be patient.
My feeling is that the team is still working on a synchronization between the numbers of views in our graph and the number of views in our photo tab, and a minimal lack of views was reported also in the past week.
A flat line is indeed weird, and is probably an effect of some issues in the database sending the number to your app, but it is definitely a temporary issue.
Regarding the post shared by @AdamGT it is related to a reported loss of points, then fixed.
The updates on Explore and Update seem to be in continuous improvement (e.g. now you can add a comment on the photo also directly from the “add a photo” command in the listing.
I would not consider this an issue, especially if you are using the Public Beta version of the App, because we can see improvements that are “work in progress”
The point of the matter is that am I not able to be notified of these issues? I see I gained back all mentioned losses however> how many have I lost without noticing it being we don’t get alerts in app? In app for Google’s social on Maps is lagging behind their main project as well as this board. Not downgrading it as it’s my top dedication freely besides Monopoly Go and All of a sudden, face palms then notices Google’s new Most Searched Play Ground. Hopefully the glitches or bugs are worked out and explore updates quit stalling. More engagement on this board would be delightful like gingerbread men. Thanks all.
