Hello.
My name is Kate. I live in Samara and sports is a great part of my life. So… My choice is to write about gyms of my native city.
Now I’m working in the gym Grafit. I like the feelings, that you can get here. Cult of strong body, hard trains… Less people with gadjets, than anywhere else. Well… Not so cool and new equipment, no swimming pool or sauna. But if you want to train and you came in Samara like a tourist, it’s the best choice. Personal training is cheaper and you can buy only one train here, not only a month or more. And there’s free wi-fi here.
Sometimes I train in a new gym, Skazka. It’s fairytale in russian). You can’t buy less than a month of training here. And It’s more expensive, than in Grafit. You can get the trainer of a high level, but pay much more. Here’s you can find free wi-fi too, but not good in every part of the gym. There is sauna and shower, but no swimming pool. Most of all I like equipment there. Now, easy to use… And so great treadmills, with the screens and connected to YouTube. So you can run and watch films or learn french, while running,as I do.) Not much people here.
The third gym I want to tell about is KinUp. It is near Volga river and you can see it from the big windows. There are hammam, jacuzzi, sauna and even a big swimming pool there. But you can hardly find a trainer and there are much more people, who are not training, just using their gadjets to make photos and write messages. I’ve been there just twice.
There’s a building in Samara, which is called Power of Sport. There you can find sport food shops and clothes for training. There’s a big gym there. It’s very interesting to use electronic key there. Computer’ll write a program for you, count callores and send a review on your e-mail.
There are much more gyms in our city, but the last I want to tell about is Tonus. It is situated not far from Soveskaya metro station. Not so big, but with infrared sauna and jacuzzi. No crowds of people, like in Grafit or KinUp, but elder equipment, than there.
Welcome to Samara, my native city.
