Hello everyone!!! Almost a month ago I returned from my trip from Prague. And yet this beautiful city does not go out of my head. I would like to share my impressions of this beautiful city.
- A great place to visit is Hradčany, a rich noble district of Prague. The number of palaces and temples in this area is impressive. There are Pražská Loreta, Kostel svatého Benedikta, Kostel svatého Jana Nepomuckého. How pleasant, fun and entertaining to get lost in one of the streets of Hradčany.
- Another great place to visit is Pražský hrad. This is one of the main attractions of the capital, a symbol of the country, the largest castle in the Czech Republic. There is the famous St. Vitus Cathedral. At the front gate is a guard of honor.
- And of course on my list is Staroměstské náměstí. The architectural dominant of Staroměstské náměstí is Kostel Panny Marie před Týnem with two pointed towers. The heads of 12 nobles, who were executed for participating Bitva na Bílé hoře, are buried in the cathedral. Staroměstská radnice is the main building on the square. The curious astronomical Pražský orloj are set on the south side of Staroměstská radnice. Every hour at the top of the clock windows open, and behind them are 12 figures of the apostles. In the center of the square is a monument to Jan Hus.
- One more wonderful place is Petřín, green mountain sprawling on the left bank of the Vltava. According to legend, it was from this hill that Princess Libuše predicted the birth of the beautiful Prague. At the top of the hill is Rozhledna na Petříně, which resembles the Eiffel, but slightly reduced. Near the Rozhledna na Petříně is Zrcadlové bludiště. An attraction with crooked mirrors amuses visitors by transforming a figure into a little man, sometimes into a long pole, or into an ugly fat man.
- Another attraction worthy of my attention is the Karlův most. Astrologers have calculated the best moment for laying the cornerstone of the future bridge 5 hours 31 minutes July 9, 1357. The magic number series was to protect the new building from destruction. The result is the bridge is already almost 700 years. The main decoration of the Karlův most is 30 sculptures of revered Czech saints and legendary personalities. The most famous is the bronze figure of Jan Nepomucky, the heavenly patron of Prague and the whole country.
I am sure that Prague is beautiful at any time of the year, but in April it is especially gorgeous.
