Five beautiful mountain peaks near Perm which welcome to visit at weekend

I want to share the beautiful in Google maps! want to describe beautiful places, and talk about my impressions, so that people also enjoy travel, visit these places and enjoy the beauty of nature, relaxing from the bustle of the city and everyday routine. I will start with the most accessible and beautiful mountains of the Urals.

The peaks list is in line with my impressions. “Stone Ermak” and “Usvensky columns” are not exactly mountains, these are stones, although the closest ones where I was.

Stone Ermak is a small stone with a height of 40 meters, allowing you to climb a little higher and explore the surroundings. Located on the banks of the river Sylva. There is the railway on the opposite river side which goes around the hill. In the warm season, after done climbing the stone, you can plunge into the river and relax on the shore. Climbing competitions are also held on Ermak. You can drive by car to the very stone, but I prefer to make a stop on the shore near the stone, while rafting on the river.

Usvensky columns are impressive massive stones ridge stretching along the Usva river. You can also reach it by rafting along the river or on foot through the forest or along the river bank. There is beautiful view of the river valley on the observation deck. You will see below the winding river and the sea of the forest to the horizon. Particularly noteworthy is a free-standing cliff called the Devil’s Finger. It is especially beautiful when in autumn the yellow and red leaves of the trees become brightly fiery in the sunset rays.

I write, not guided by the principle: the higher the mountain, the more beautiful it is. Of those described here, Konzhakovsky stone is one of the highest peaks of Northern Urals with a height of 1569 meters. Konzhak makes a completely opposite impression. Rather, because of the landscape around. Standing at the very top and looking around, to the horizon you can only see huge gray stones overgrown with green moss. The view is beautiful, but not fascinating. There is a cold strong wind, which wants to knock you down and carry away. As if the mountain itself does not want to be conquered. Even in the middle of summer there is snow here. In the foothills of the Konzhakovsky stone there is the “Glade of Artists”, a picturesque place for a campground. You can stay for the night here and climb to the top the next day.

Arakul Shihan is a granite rock massif of Middle Urals. It is short, but very picturesque! From the peak you can see 11 lakes, which are located in the dense forests of the Urals. When sunny, the panorama is filled with bright colors of lush greenery, alternating with a brilliant iridescent surface of lakes and a blue sky. An ideal place for relaxation and meditation. You can climb the rocks easily, even barefoot, like me.

Taganay mountain range in Southern Urals reaches a height of 1178 meters. Hiking trail to mount Taganay passes through the beautiful forest of the national park. There will be a small wooden bridge over a mountain stream on the way. There is an iron staircase to the observation deck, where you can take a break, have a snack and move on along the narrow path to the top. Throughout the path there will be tall trees until you climb to the very peak of the mountain. A stunning view opens up only then! You will see the Zlatoust city, the valleys and the ridges of the neighboring mountains. I was lucky with the weather, it was sunny and windless. Exactly then you feel peace, tranquility and peace being at the very peak of the mountain. I want to sit here and watch the floating white clouds in the azure blue sky.

If you are a mountain lover, then each of them deserves your attention and presence. If you are an ordinary tourist, then choose the most convenient, accessible and suitable mountain by the described impressions and conquer it. After your first although unprofessional ascent, you will love the mountains and nature. As the Russian poet Vladimir Vysotsky said: “Only the mountains which you had not visited can be better than the mountains you have been to.”
