A quaint fishing village at Balik Pulau Penang, right at the banks of Sungai Pulau Betung. Worth a visit for some fresh seafood.
Arrive around 1-2p.m when fishing boats dock with their fresh off the boat catches.
You can buy direct from the fish stalls and bring over to Jia Siang Cafe (its actually a restaurant don’t know why the signboard says cafe lol) for the chef to cook for you. They charge from RM10-20+ depends on cooking style.
Must try their nutmeg drink, they make it with UUMPH. We had 2 glasses each.
