I get a task almost monthly of finding a good restaurant in the city, a nice place for leisure or a picnic spot by my wife and my 6 year old daughter. As Indian cities, mostly metros, are somewhat overcrowded so it becomes quite a task to find a place where one can relax and spend some quality time with family or either friends away from the hustle and bustle.
I search through such places using Google maps and reading through reviews, newspaper and other websites that recommends the top places in the city. At times I fail to find such a place that I had in my mind but once I have found that ‘right’ place I remember to make it a point to share the experience on Google Reviews suggesting if it is the ideal place to hangout with the near & dear ones. As a foodie I checkout different cuisines too and lookout for the ones that are authentic and true to their name, and I let the world know through my reviews.
A lot of my reviews are mostly explaining such hangout places in the city of Delhi or even elsewhere, where one can be themselves away from the noise or hubbub. I always try and keep my reviews more detailed and meaningful rather than simply rating or writing ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’ so that someone can make informed decisions based on that.
At the same time it is part of my responsibility to not to give a bad rating based on one interaction or encounter since someone may suffer a business loss because of our prejudice.
