Fishing is love🥰

This place is situated in Sarishabari under Jamalpur district.

Fishing is very popular in Bangladesh. You will be glad to know that Bangladesh is third in the world in this field. Now let’s talk about this picture.

This place is situated in Sarishabari under Jamalpur district beside my home. This is a special net called ‘chip jal’ in local language. If you want to catch fishes with this net firstly you have to push the handel of the net and let the net sink under the water and wait. After some time you have to pull the handel. You will found many fish if you are fortunate :grinning: .

@Rafi_Khan Hello, thank you for sharing such great experience with us and insights. Got some questions does the government regulate how much you can fish at a time and the seasons? Also do you need a license to do so? Lastly, what kind of fish do you normally cash? And was that a river? I am just curious to learn about such.

Thank you so much, and hope you can catch some great fishes.

Hello @RamsesMorales

I am glad to see your curiosity. Now I am answering your question.

No,there is no regulation from the government. You can catch fishes as much as you can.But there are some restrictions to catch only Hilsha fish at the time of their reproduction in some specific area. You need no licence to catch fishes.Generally salmon, catla, scorpion fishes and many local named fishes are being cought. And lastly that was not a river. That was water of flooded area.

Hello @Rafi_Khan ,

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo with us, what filters did you use?

I’ve heard about this way of fishing, but it’s the first time ever that I see such a huge net!

Do you like fishing? Have you ever tried fishing using this technique?

Personally, I like fishing, but after the second hour I start to feel bored.
