Fishing beach, beauty of coconut trees [Koh Kong province]

You may have read or seen in my previous post that some beaches on Koh Rong has coconut trees that could add beauty to the white sand beach. However, I rarely see the coconut tree beach. Now, I would like to introduce the beach in Koh Kong province called ឆ្នេរនេសាទ Chhne Nesat / Fishing beach (Google map link is here). If you look into the map, it is quite far, like a bay into the sea. It is quite remote. It is a good combination when you go visiting other attractions in Koh Kong province. I visited the beach once few years ago, and quite love it. It is kind of unique beach.

It is very good for a quick stop or picnic!

Location

  • This beach is located in Chrouy Svay commune, Sre Ambil district, Koh Kong province. The beach is uncomparable to those at Sihanouk Ville, but what special about it is the coconut trees line on the beach.
  • Turn left from National Road #48 near Sre Ambil district hall and drive on red sand road for about 20kms.

Tourism facilities

The tourism facilities are very limited. They are still underway of development. In the future, there might be changed in a lot of things over there, including lodging, restaurants and other things.

  • No restaurants on site (only farther in the village), huts or clean toilet yet.
  • It is good for camping or family picnic. No accommodation as well. Waste management is not in place.
  • Fresh seafood can be bought from fishermen here around 4pm. This is more like a fishing village of locals here.
  • Entry is free as it is a public beach but parking and using of restrooms is charged, 2-5$/car

Yes it looks @Sophia_Cambodia ,It is an absolute place for picnic.

Yes, it is @Austinelewex but since everyone can go, brings their picnic and no proper waste management, this place is not very clean.

Locals still throw them without too much care of the sustainability and cleanliness of the place to enjoy next time.

I see, that’s still nice @BudiFXW I rarely see sea beaches with palm trees. I see palm trees mostly at the paddy fields.
