My favorite is Tilapia from Lake Victoria @PaulPavlinovich
I’ve heard of Tilapia @SirGowrdy someone brought them to Australia and released them and they have been taking over in many of our creek and river systems you can read one account of that here https://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-08-12/tilapia-infestation-in-south-east-queensland/7690180
I’m not sure that anyone here has thought of eating them. I’ve not seen them for sale anywhere. Fishermen here are required to kill them and report where and when they were caught.

I didn’t know of the tilapia invasion in Australia, though am aware of this fish species ability to grow and reproduce fast in favourable conditions…
I read that it’s illegal to be in possession of tilapia over there @PaulPavlinovich @

Both types are available in the market friend… also, smoked, and deep fried fish…
