First time NYC for a foodie

Hi all,

I am going to New York in a couple of weeks. I am a food fanatic so I am preparing my trip ahead in order to visit some of the most important food places of NYC. It is actually not really my first time but the last time was only for a day so it doesn’t really count.

So far I have booked a table at Eleven Madison Park for the fine dining spot. I am going to visit Katz Delicatessen for the famous Pastrami sandwich. On my list I have some more places to visit :

The Standard - Skybar
Employees Only - Famous cocktail bar

Chelsea food market - nice food market with all kinds of stuff

Freemans Restaurant - nice restaurant in a back alley

I am really into speak easy secret bars or some general speak easy bars. I am also a fan of fine dining but I think with Eleven Madison Park I got that covered. I am also looking for some of the best fast food like the pastrami sandwich.

Maybe some of you can give some feedback and have some suggestions for some secret bars.
