The sit @ home is almost getting to a month here in Awka Nigeria. My friends and I are gradually running out of foodstuffs.
Just today, we couldn’t think of what to eat.So I came up with this- Spaghetti with pumpkin leaves sauce.
These are the ingredients:
-
A packet of spaghetti
-
Pumpkin leaves
-
Tomatoes
-
Carrot
5.Fresh pepper
6.Smoked fish
7.Onions
-
Ground nut oil
-
Seasoning
The process:
Put water in a pot allow to boil. Add your spaghetti to the boiling water and allow it cook. Then sieve out the water with a basket.
After that, put a dry pot on fire, add your ground nut oil, onions, add the sliced tomatoes and pepper, the already washed fish, the seasoning. Allow to cook for sometime, after that add the pumpkin leaves.Dont allow it cook for so long,so as to maintain its greenish look.
That’s all! Your spaghetti and pumpkin leave sauce is ready!

Hello @Mercy51 ,
Thank you for sharing this recipe with us, the meal looks very interesting and delicious!
Did you create this pumpkin sauce or you already knew about it before?
Do you have a favorite pasta meal? A favorite sauce?

This your innovation is “richly” commendable
But come to think of it, this is ugu season
With the nutritional content am trying this recipe
But let me ask oh ? You did not add water to the sauce
after groundnut oil, tomatoes, carrot etc.

@BorrisS thanks so much. No, I didn’t create it, I only got it from the garden. Pumpkin leaves are grown in almost every garden where I come from. @Awka,Nigeria…
My favourite pasta is Golden penny spaghetti.
