FIRST TIME IN IT CAPITAL OF INDIA 🇮🇳 THE BANGALORE

  1. I am working in one of the defence department. I got my first posting in bangalore. I was happy, because some of my relatives who is in defence already completed their tenure of posting in bangalore. They said me it is very perfect city in all respects. Now i completed two and half years in bangalore. There are both pros and cons of lifestyle in Bangalore. I have spend my time almost in all the parts of north India and I hail from North India. I have also travelled towards North and lived few months in Mumbai.

Pros - (a) T****he weather - Anyone who has ever been to Bangalore can make out the difference between the climate condition in Bangalore and other places. While places like Delhi and Mumbai remains very hot during peak summer season and very humid, the temperature in Bangalore hardly goes above 30 degree Celsius. (b)Location and connectivity - The location of Bangalore gives the advantage of travelling anywhere. It’s located centrally and has a good connectivity with all nearby places. Not to mention, ample amount of flights to every nook and corner of the country as well as foreign places. (c) Night life, people and the language - Bangalore doesn’t feel like a South Indian place at all. Infact, there’s no language problem at all. People are open to both hindi and English. Night life, as in most of the metro cities, is an added advantage. You can have cabs ready even at in the morning. Not to mention the people here are highly cooperative. Plus you may find a mix of people. The software engineers from all over India are one of the major parts.

Cons - (a) Expensive - Need I say more ? One of the most expensice cities I have ever lived in. Be it food or travel, the prices will surely make your pockets light. (b) Traffic - The most annoying thing about Bangalore is the traffic. There no comparison to the traffic here. You can be stuck for hours in the traffic. I own a car and a bike but still I prefer walking because of this very reason. Most of the times, your patience will run out if you are stuck in traffic. One can understand only after he or she is stuck in traffic here.

  1. The best part is KARNATAKA PEOPLE (exceptions are always there) I don’t know much so I’m telling about my experience with localities here. Its very good. People are helpful and reserved they are not going to care about what is going in your personal life. If you want help If its possible they will do. People are literate. All kind of food you can have.
  2. Bangalore - “The city which welcomes you, accomodates you, gives you name and fame but does not judge you from where you came.”
