Hi @Wheelchair4x “Welcome to Connect! If this is your first visit, you’ve come to the right place. This post will serve as a guide for everything you need to know about contributing content and engaging with the Local Guides community on Connect” . This is the first of the information that you will find in “Your guide to Connect” , the introductory Guide of the community. In there you will find all the necessary information to know how to better contribute in here.

Indeed not easy, I agree, even if in Google Maps we have a lot of features about accessibility. However, I see from your photos that you are challenging yourself. The lack of information about accessibility in Outdoor Areas (my mom was in wheelchair too) was the main reason for me to start the Accessible Life in Google Earth program - The program is now Public for Everyone to contribute, and I am sure you can have a lot to share with us

Do you have a doubt about how to do something? The Help desk is here for you, with a long list of post with detailed indications on how to post.

Which kind of contents we share in the community? What are Connect topics? will give you an explanation

Thanks for the input…great to know facts and ideals that are beneficial not just myself, but others as well.

I know at times Myself, find myself like lot of drivers do when driving and looking on their phone same time ( even though it’s illegal). I have to look, think and figure out how to deal with unwanted barriers might be ahead. Expl. Might be elevator out of order, so have to judge the stairs, or if there an escalator going up or down. Not alot wheelchair uses able do this. Took me long time build the skill to conquered stairs and escalators ( even with my cheap low grade wheelchair)

Lot people just take their health for granted and think being disabled ( temporary or permanently) can never happen to them. I was the same way untill it did happen.

What sad, more and more I am seeing more young people and kids in wheelchair or some form of disability.

So close by saying. No matter what your disability might be( even if it’s an addiction that’s like a disability) never give up, even if others don’t understand or think YOU CAN BE ABILITY in being successful in living each and ever day. And don’t give up just because others gave up or can’t believe in your will to make it work for yourself.
