This is my first post on Local Guides Connect.
Hi everyone, my name is Jason Christian and I am a Google Local Guide based in Indonesia. I live in Tangerang, but I usually go to Jakarta as well for work.
I become a Local Guide, because I was inspired by other local guides before me. When I travel to different places, I usually look at the reviews that other local guides have provided before me. One day, I got inspired and I thought to myself, I should probably do it too. After all, my experiences can help other people, just as other people’s reviews have helped me make a better decision on places to go.
On top of that, being a local guide also has perks, which is just a cherry on top of a very yummy cake. Connecting with other local guides is such a fun experience to have as well.
Local Guide Connect Live is coming up this month, and I am really looking forward to go if I am given this opportunity.
