As you have probably read in there “If ever you feel your post was incorrectly marked as spam, tag a moderator and reference the post; we’ll be here to help! Don’t worry, the URL for your post will stay the same.” What does it means Tag a moderator:
Tag: Tagging (AKA mentioning) someone is an operation activated when you type an @ symbol. This command generate a Pop-up where you can type the username of the person you want to mention. In this way, the mentioned person will receive a notification. In a post we can tag maximum 10 person, but is strongly suggested to tag only if needed. Copying and pasting a list of moderator do not generate a tag
a moderator means “one” moderator from the moderator list
I’m new to the community and I recently posted an article sharing pictures and information about my recent trip to Europe. It was titled as How to travel across Europe in less than 15days under INR 1Lacs and the same was removed. It had experiences of me and my friend jointly posted alongwith a few pictures clicked by us and some from internet with screenshots of maps. Just wanted to know how could I repost the content (what cautions to take) and could I make an edit to old post and repost it or do I upload all of it again?
Have you used your own material for the post? Please check: How do I follow the original content guidelines on Connect? If the post is using copied contents, may be removed by a Google Moderator. In this case, you should have been notified.
Have you checked the draft area? You can find your draft under your profile, on the “draft” tab
Yes I got notified by @vasT that my post is being removed because it doesnt appear to be my own. It had certain references taken from a blog run by me and a friend who took the trip with me. I’m trying to understand if I can repost it by making essential edits instead of typing it all over again?
Please remember that, if the content is yousr but was posted previously in other places, you should clearly indicate this.
As clearly indicated on The 5 core values of Connect “We post our own words, photos, and videos that we’ve created just for Connect. We don’t share content that we don’t have the rights to”
As I mentioned in my previous comment @Explore_Keshav you can publish your post again by using only your photos. Please don’t share external links as it might be considered as promotional. Also, I would suggest to take a look at the article that @ErmesT mentioned in his comment: How do I follow the original content guidelines on Connect?.
