I recently joined the Community, but I’ve been a Google Guide for a few years. I’ve also been disabled and in and out of the hospital with nearly 25 surgeries the past few years.
I’m just now realizing that although I’m not able to achieve all of the accomplishments I was striving towards, before I was became a medical mystery, but I can still make a difference and have an impact on people’s lives via being a Google Guide! So I’m trying to reframe my goals and celebrate the little wins. And I think 300,000 views is a win! I know it isn’t much compared to most of y’alls views, but even you too dogs started at the back of the pack, like me! Thanks for reading! I’m happy to be here and open to any and all feedback, advice, comments, etc.!
Firstly, welcome to the Community @AmberCoeCEO , you are with friends. Sheeesh, in and out of hospital with nearly 25 surgeries over the past few years! A medical mystery or not, you certainly can make a difference and can impact on people’s lives in more ways than one as a Google Guide! I say good on you for reframing your goals and yes celebrate the little wins. I mean, how do you climb Mt Everest? Well believe me I know! One step at a time! How do you eat an elephant? Well believe me I know! One bite at a time! So300,000 photo views is certainly a win. You are well on the way! I mean just think about how many people you have already helped make a decision about visiting a place! Amber, head on over and get yourself onto the Leaderboards of Top 100 Photo Views and rumble some with the rest of us dogs in the pack! Woof, woof
Thanks @AdamGT ! And I just got through reading all about Leaderboards of Top 100 Photo Views and I can’t wait to see where I currently stand in the pack! Thank you for starting something so fun and genuinely useful! See you on the leaderboard, my friend! dog pack howls in approval
Well done you! Yes there’s a lot to read @AmberCoeCEO but it’s all quite simple really. Once you’re in your job is done and then it’s up to the master “dog handler” to regularly maintain and keep things up-to-date as well as making sure that all “dogs” behave and obey the rules. I look forward to seeing you progress and climb amongst the pack
