This is such a huge improvement to my city! Altinho is a small, countryside city in Pernambuco. Since a Jesuit priest endeavour transformed his dream in legacy, the Museu de Arte Sacra & Outros Segmentos (Sacred Arts & other branches museum) came to be. Here is where one can learn how the religion imposed by colonialists built this country and framed people’s lives. I haven’t even dreamed about such experience, as I have grown without the proper historical knowledge I got nowadays. Anyone who visits here is taken to quite a few other interesting places as the trip goes on.
