This is the first meet-up in Mashhad. We want to share our knowledge and say welcome to the world in the year that Mashhad holds ceremonies to celebrate 2017 being cultural capital of Islam World. We selected this place to cover enjoyments, green environment and cultural aspects of meet-up. This is most known park of Mashhad and this time selected to have day and night photography. We also have walk in to the “Imam Reza Cultural Cmoplex”. We can also eat and drink inside the park or in near cafes and fast food restaurants in Moallem Boulevard. It would be better for attendees to have at least 20,000 Tomans (~5$) so they can eat and drink something.We’ll see each other at the “Emamat Door” of “Mellat Park” in Emamat Cross-way.
Hi @JafferA , Sure. We’ll be happy if more Local Guides join us in each local guides meet-up, No matter in which language they speak. Specially it would be good to see you at the Mashhad meet-up
In next days, I’ll also insert details (for example a simple map of the meet-up) in Persian language at Iran Local Guides website but also I will explain more details in English, here.

I have finally met with @Amiran last Sunday in the beautiful Park Mellat. It was really my pleasure to meet and explore each other’s experiences in Google Maps. Now I can say I have a clearer idea about the issues you guys go through to use and contribute to Google Maps, and you can consider me a supporter of your case right now
It would have been a great opportunity to meet you all tomorrow, but unfortunately, the date does not fit my travel schedule.

Sorry for this too late response. Because I wasn’t active in these recent days and put my time to complete roads in last days of Map Maker and finally it ends. I hope we can see Map Maker’s tools on Maps soon. And continue to make the map better with help of each others.
