Firs Meet Up, Experiences and Learning’s on Connect Live'19 Experience Sharing Meet-up Program

I am really surprised to attend the Connect Live’19 Experience Sharing Meet-Up Program on Bangladesh Local Guide was held at the United International University-Main Campus in Madani Avenue, Dhaka on November 29, 2019. It was the 123 Meet-up Program. I was very much excited like other Local Guides in Bangladesh on that particular day. The program began on scheduled time with a welcome speech from the host @SShuvo to give thank all 186 participants for attending the event. The program was anchored by @RafsanRana for the rest of the time.

It’s a wonder to me how I become a Google Local Guide without getting any prior information. I don’t remember when I have given the first review and pictures. It was fun for me when I have given reviews with pictures. I felt good. At a certain time, I have noticed that for making reviews with pictures I got some points and points that are accumulating day by day and I got realized that I become a Google Local Guide. It’s a story of me to become a Google Local Guide.

There is lots of story already has been shared from our different Local Guides of Bangladesh. What was the discussion really important for me and I am going to share what I have learned from the Meet-up Program.

I am quite surprised to hear a voice like @LyricMitra who is a very popular writer in local guide connect and a popular local guide as well. Her speech was quite interesting to me and mentioned important facts like girls are not step forwarding on the contribution of Google Map although she expected more to come forward.

Moreover, some expertise of Local Guides like @JAHEEED @Muhibur Md.Leon and get on the podium and shared about Basic mapping and Local guides program. They also talk about what we have been facing problem regarding total mapping like reviews, photos and adding place, etc. in our country. They gave some tips for local guides. There was a Q & A section which really very effective for us like those who attended the first time in the Meet-up program

The break time was very interesting and exciting like taking pictures by selfie photo, single and group photos. Some of the Local Guides were holding the National Flag of our country to take a drone and group pictures. This part was extremely exciting moments for all the Local Guides. I was enjoying the same. After that, we all went to the cafeteria for snacks.

Another interesting part was our connect moderator @SumaiyaZafrin came on the stage and shared her experience with the local guides. She gave some advice and tells us to be more active on Local Guide Connect

@MahabubMunna the local guides of Bangladesh who traveled California recently for the Connect Live’19 and shared his experience with us. I got something new information like Roads adding facilities may open from 2020 on Google Map in Bangladesh which most awaited things for our Local Guide and I am really hopeful. I got to know from this event how to take a perfect photo and how many photos will attach.

I was surprised by the wishes message from Google team @TraciC and @brittym really inspired me. Thank you so much for your lovely wishes.

There was a funny casino game played with lots of fun. The entire program was full of joy and fun. I enjoyed it a lot though my friend Md. Faruk really accompanied me and make some time for me. I got some gifts like a T-shirt, Ball pen, Notebook, and Chocolates. I passed some good quality time with Local Guides. I learned and inspire to do more with good responsibility. As I think I represent the country to the world so I have the responsibility to do better. One thing I would tell that our communication to meet each other or to introduce ourselves should have been increased.

To sum up; I really appreciate it and thanks to all for arranging such a beautiful program. I am quite overwhelmed and privileged to attend a wonderful event. I really appreciate it and thanks to all for arranging such a beautiful program. I hope I will present all the next Meet-up programs regularly.

Please pardon me for my writing skills. I will try my best to next.
