Being a local guide for me is an opportunity to contribute to the community and provide reviews and recommendations of places I visited. I enjoy providing recommendations of many places from restaurants to bars to small businesses but one my true passions and one which I find most interesting as a local guide is to provide reviews of resorts in the South east Asia Region.
For the last 5 years I have been living in Singapore and one of the main advantages is the proximity to Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and others. Over this period I have made it my personal mission to find cool places in those places that can be relevant to people with similar tastes as me. I enjoy getting feedback to my reviews and seeing the amount of people who have read or seen my photos.
Here is a look at some of the places which I have reviewed and received great feedback from both the resort owners and the community.
Vietnam – Fusion Resort Cam Ranh
We visited fusion at the end of December 2017 with our two kids ages 9 and 7. Fusion is truly a beautiful and amazing resort. They will do anything they can to make your stay perfect and memorable. The rooms are huge and have the best view. We have a two bedroom villa which is perfect for a family with space for the kids and the parents.
Thailand – Phi Phi village Resort
Visited here with the family in October 2019 and immediately published a review which was appreciated and commented by the resort manager. Although this was only a few months ago already I see many views of the photos and I’m sure its impacting the business at the resort. Just waiting to go back again to this amazing resort.
This place is right in our home town but it didn’t make it less enjoyable. Its an amazing resort which we enjoyed very much as a couple without the kids. Some of my photos which I published here have been viewed over 7000 times. What in impact…
Moving forward I will keep adding more and more places like this and help others we are seeking such info to take more educated decisions on there place of holiday. So much investment is done on planning a holiday and I believe such reviews are a very powerful tool to take the right decision. I hope to get a chance to visit more and more places and contribute more to this interesting domain of family travels in the south east asia region.
