I am a designer, mostly for local events around my country. With google maps, which have a streetview, we don’t have too often to do a venue survey. It really helped us. Then, when I come to the event, I always taking picture and upload it to google map so people who need to see it can find it on google maps. And I’m sure other designer like me can use it to create their event layouting, specially for indoor venue.
