there are two main reasons why I contribute to google maps and I am going to talk about them briefly here.
I love finding and sharing hidden gems on Google Maps. It is so satisfying to find a place, an experience which you think others would love. Sharing that experience and encouraging others to have their own version is the best part about being a local guide. supporting locals who are doing something original and unique is necessary to elevate the standards in the community.
I use Google Maps all the time, especially when I travel. I rely heavily on local guides and it is extremely helpful to get insight on tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels and anything that might help you with your experience from the people who live in the community. The best part about this process is the map gets more accurate and precise day by day. The feedback allows the owners to know what they are doing right and what needs to improve.
Google maps is helping millions of people and to be a part of that is an amazing experience.
