This week i have visited Saroj Gupta Cancer Hospital in Kolkata, India. I am so happy to see the accessibility features in the Hospital. I would like share my experience and finding accessibility work at Saroj Gupta Cancer and Research Hospital it is also known as Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital. I have visited the Hospital with my relatives for his treatment and still living in this area.
I was wondered to see the facilities for the disable peoples each and every buildings in this hospital.
From the entrance to each Building in the hospital is also accessible for wheelchair users with ramps; also have wheelchairs available for disable people on demand, so any one can use this facility at no cost.
Inside the hospital buildings all the rooms are accessible including waiting room, washroom, canteen; the lifts also set at floor level so it is easily accessible for wheelchair users.
