How can i find duplicate photo’s?
I made a new place and need to separate/delete them on the old
There are not tools from Google to help you with this.
Using two devices or tabs or windows would be best tip.

@MortenCopenhagen maybe it can be an idee to update into google?
They remove people from the program for duplicate photo’s.
So there must be a solution to prevent them by usselve before google has to react.
It would be nice if it could work like the duplicate place button.
Not everyone can do something about it by example in my case if u split 1 place in 2 places…
I see what u mean, but its about forest photo’s, its like impossible to find them
Keep in mind I’m not representing Google, but I am aware of some steps taken in the past and currently to block duplicates. Not just exact copies but also similar photos that get hidden immediately after upload. You can still see them and delete them and they only get very few views.
But there is still a long way to go before this works perfect and consistently.

I have an even better idee
They can make a tag on locals profile.
With all the information they have.
List with reviews and information about the violation.
Then another list photos with possible issues.
This all with a countdown before google takes over with consecuences.
Then the locals can see whats wrong and learn like how the AI is thinking.
This will prevent a lot of people getting removed from the program without knowing it and the reason why.
Win win situation.
Thus is a conversation that we started to have with Google since 2017, @De_Rouck_Sidney , and there are various proposal from the community. I am sure Google is working on this, trying to find the best option.
With more than 150 millions local guides contributing, every solution will use a huge amount of resources, and I think that optimising that function is the bigger concern.
My suggestion was to analyse, only when a user is contributing, the EXIF file of the photos to see if the photo was already uploaded. But this too will use a lot of resources, if this happens simultaneously for every single photo of every single user, and will not prevent from useless photos, or near duplicates. So I think that at the moment it is our duty to check if a photo has been already uploaded.
