I am so fortunate that I am a part of this most friendly community. We all are aware of the Connect Live 2018 which was held in San Francisco in October 2018. I came across an unexpected and pleasant surprise that I was selected for the event; but, unfortunately, due to visa issues, I could not attend the same.
I had planned so much for that event, which included a “LocalGuides Friends Forever” poster for my friends across the globe. I wanted to meet each one of them and show them this gift to get their signature on the poster - this was one of my dreams.
I run short of words to thank my dear friend @DavidTito for making my dream come true - Yes it was a big time surprise for me that David while attending Connect Live 2019, took the print out of the my poster and got signatures from all those friends for me – it did not end there, even he made a video call from San Jose. I was overwhelmed by the gesture of David. Hats off to you dear David.

To my highest surprise, he even found time to get the signatures of Connect live 2019 Attendees too. After all these, he couriered it to me. This is how a friend helped me to ‘make my dream come true’ – My heartfelt regards to our friend David Tito.
This is awesome, @NareshDarji . No worries, @NareshDarji you created such a big impact on the community and more importantly Google Maps. I believe you’re one of the best local guides in the world helping tourists and Google Maps users with your abundant albeit quality reviews, photos and edits. Best of luck!
@NareshDarji I am so blessed to have you as my brother… thanks for doing all the great things you do… and I am sure one day we both, actually we 3 including @DavidTito will be together there in Mountain View.
Thank you so much @NareshDarji for taking us to the prestigious annual event of Local Guides - The Google Local Guide SummitConnect Live 2019, and letting the world know about the extensive community of the Indian subcontinent.
Absolutely @TravellerG , that’s the beauty of Local Guides community, we come from different backgrounds, different parts of the world with multiple faiths and belief system and speak different languages, yet we are all one soul and passionate about the common goal. I am also very very happy and proud that this community does not discriminates anyone based on their beliefs, color of skin, ethnicity and views. It is very rare to run such a big community with such politeness and kindness, so kudos to all LocalGuides and all the Googlers who made it happen.
Excellent post @NareshDarji . I must tell you that all Local Guides were very thrilled to sign the posters during CL19. Also, when @DavidTito presented it to Traci, that was such a happy moment and I am sure you must have felt the vibes too
@NareshDarji It’s really should be an honor and proud feeling although you miss the train due to visa restrictions I hope We will meet at next connect Live
You are absolutely correct, I fully agree (that is why, I am in this community)…dear Moderator @OmerAli
Thanks for your response…
PS:
Many of such values, keep pulling me back to our group, again & again, although sometimes, I get lost with my professional responsibilities of a corporate leader (- thanks, dear friend)
