I travel often to Paris and am glad to be able to enjoy the great variety of restaurants from different countries.
Normally I do not go to a sea food restaurant in Paris because as it is far from the ocean the quality most of the time is not good. Some restaurants even use the microwave to heat the food.
I was happily surprised to find a good sea-food restaurant in a non-touristic area. I was coming here mostly for having breakfast, but never for a diner. It is a family-owned small business and the locals come here to sit outdoors and to chat face to face and not “eat and go”.
Sometimes when I am visiting a restaurant and I actually like to talk with the owner or the people in the kitchen. In this case I asked if the fish served here in this restaurant in Paris was fresh and the cook went happily to the kitchen and brought us this fish from Normandy. He said this came by boat through the river Seine. The taste of the food was really great and my friends and I enjoyed the tranquility of this neighborhood.
